This time of year we can get into the dog days of August, you know, warm water temps and sluggish fish, but this year is not typical, and the fishing still feels more like July. The fishing is good, and will remain good for the rest of August on the Truckee River. Stones, caddis, crays, and hoppers are on the menu this month. Great weather, healthy fish, and good times.
