Some of the rainbows we’ve been putting in the net down through the desert have been unbelievable this year. Maybe it’s due to the high water we’ve had, I don’t know, but some of them are ridiculously big. Kevin from Reno floated with me again yesterday, perfect weather, and the fish were on the grab. “Come on Mr. Trout”, as he likes to say. We lost some fish we never saw, and he got one as big as the photo when I went to go get the trailer. Good times. A strong low pressure is rolling down from Alaska, prepare yourself for the the cold and snow if you are coming up to Truckee in the next few days. Next week it’s suppose to warm back up.
