Still super solid winter time fishing on the Truckee River. Good reports up and down the river. I’m starting to see more fish on top daily. Midges are the name of the game. Shortly, we’ll start getting the big midge clusters, they ball up, and the fish start coming up for ’em. Super fun. With this mild ass weather everything will happen early this year, unless, we get some real winter weather. Alex got this fish today on a stock, sz #18, black zebra midge, his first fish on a fly rod.
