We finally have the jet stream lined up, and storm’s on the way for Tahoe. It looks like all of Nor Cal is going to get pounded into next week. The storm’s are on the warm side, which will bring a lot of moisture, but also rain, which could blow out the Truckee River for a few days. Check the USGS flows if you do take the drive up to fish. I’ll be down working the Sage booth at the ISE show in Sacramento, and tying some flies in the afternoon’s. Come by and shoot the shit with me if anyone’s down there. This week was a bust on the Truckee, wind and Arctic temperatures, but I did manage to hit a run yesterday and hooked some on a zebra midge. Next week should be good up here.
