Things got hot round these parts. Full on summertime fishing. I’ve been up on the Cali side this week. Caddis, crayfish, stones, sallys. Fish the fast stuff, get off the water early afternoon, and hit it again before dark. Big drys have been working good too. A big golden stone has accounted for the majority of fish lately, hell, I’ve even taken the dropper off the back. Hopper’s sure, it’s pretty much that time. Lot’s of folks out on the river too. Be courteous of your fellow angler. Don’t go barging on some dudes hole, the Truckee is a big river, find another spot.
