Nice warm balmy days here on the Truckee River. Very windy in the afternoons (fairly normal for late spring), but other than that, good steady fishing. Some clouds and cooler weather for this week. Should see a lot of bugs out on the overcast days. The nymphings been good and steady just like the fishing. Streamers hit and miss. Flows are great, still big in the Hirsch and below, but been somewhat dropping, mellow. Carpenter ants are out and about and lots of folks have been duping fish on top with them- you can fish them sub-surface and that works too. Figuring this week will be pretty good and every tactic should get fish.
