Fly fishing at Pyramid Lake continues to be solid, in fact if I had to choose, I would be here in the next 2-3 weeks. Water temps are perfect right now for big Lahontan Cutthroat Trout to cruise the beaches right off the shelf searching for food. Air temps and water temps are perfect right now. You will not freeze your ass off and you will catch fish, win, win. Do you want to catch a fish of a lifetime? Welp, a buddy of mine did this week, 24.5 pounds. No place in the world except Mongolia and BC where you can catch trout this big as Pyramid Lake in Nevada. It’s 30 minutes from Reno, and you can gamble and eat endless piles of food and drink to your hearts content. I should be in marketing.
