Thanksgiving week ended all right for precip up in our neck of the woods. I think they got about a foot on top, nothing but rain here in the Hirsch, but it has rained pretty much for about 3-4 days. The Truckee River has come back up to fishable flows,( more on that later), and Pyramid Lake has fished very well since these storms have came through. Lahontan Cutthroat Trout have been being caught on all beeches. Pick the way the wind is blowing, saddle up, and cast into it. It’s starting to get raw and nasty out at the lake, dress in layers, and be prepared to be cold. All techniques and styles are catching fish. Give it a half hour or so on one beach, if you ain’t catching fish, go to another one.
