A big shot of cold the last few days. Nasty north wind blowing. Good wind for Pyramid, not so much on the river. A warming trend going into the weekend and maybe another shot of cold middle of next week.

Flows are still good on the Truckee River. Who knows how long they will last. The river got a bit muddied up the last few days, not from run-off, there is none. Boca and Stampede looked like they have turned over making the lakes muddy and the released water coming out of Boca, well, muddy.

Same old same old as far as bugs go. Fishing is very good right now on the Truckee River. Lots of fish being caught up and down on both sides, Ca and in Nevada.

Take your pick on how you like to fish and get at it before it’s too late.
